Juventus are taking decisive steps as they begin planning the future of their midfield, with several high-profile targets emerging ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to the latest transfer reports from Tuttosport, an intriguing option has resurfaced for the Bianconeri: Fabian Ruiz.

The former Napoli midfielder, now playing for Paris Saint-Germain, remains under contract until 2027. However, his future in Paris is not entirely secure, and Juventus are closely monitoring the situation.

The Turin giants are reportedly ready to take advantage of his contract status in order to negotiate a more affordable deal.

From a tactical perspective, Fabian Ruiz is considered an ideal fit for the system expected to be implemented by Luciano Spalletti, offering elite technical quality, ball retention, and composure in possession—key elements for a midfield built around control and creativity.

Alternative Targets: Kovacic and Brahim Diaz Also Under Consideration

Despite their strong interest in Fabian Ruiz, Juventus are not focusing on a single option. The club is actively evaluating several alternatives to ensure they are well-prepared for every scenario in the transfer market.

One of the standout names on the shortlist is Mateo Kovacic, currently at Manchester City.

The Croatian midfielder could be available following uncertainty surrounding squad planning in England, and he remains a long-standing target admired by Juventus for his versatility, experience, and ability to operate in multiple midfield roles.

Another profile under close observation is Brahim Diaz, who is owned by Real Madrid.

Struggling for consistent playing time, the attacking midfielder could welcome a return to Serie A, where he previously showed flashes of his creative talent.

Juventus continue to track these prestigious international options, fully aware that returning to the top of Italian football will require a transfer campaign of the highest level, combining quality, experience, and long-term vision.
