Juventus could be preparing for another major move in the transfer market after reportedly reaching advanced stages in negotiations for Joshua Zirkzee.

According to Calciomercato, the Bianconeri are now close to finding a definitive agreement with Manchester United for the Dutch striker, potentially completing their third significant signing in just a few days after deals for Jhon Lucumì and Guglielmo Vicario.

The negotiations are not completely finished, with some details still needing to be resolved. However, Manchester United are reportedly prepared to consider a loan move with an option to buy, a formula that would suit Juventus perfectly given their current financial strategy.

Zirkzee Deal Moves Forward

Zirkzee, born in 2001 and a member of the Netherlands national team, is believed to be an attractive option for Luciano Spalletti, who is looking to build an attack capable of competing on multiple fronts.

The Dutch forward’s technical qualities, movement and ability to link play could make him an interesting addition to Juventus’ attacking options.

The loan-with-option-to-buy formula would also allow Juventus to strengthen immediately without committing to a major transfer fee upfront. This approach has become increasingly important for the Turin club as they look to balance sporting ambitions with financial considerations.

However, there is one major obstacle that must be overcome before the Zirkzee operation can be completed.

Jonathan David Must Leave First

According to Calciomercato, Juventus need to find a new destination for Jonathan David before they can finalize their move for Zirkzee.

The Canadian striker is effectively on the transfer market, but despite interest and preliminary enquiries, no concrete offers have arrived for his services so far.

That situation is now a priority for the Bianconeri. Juventus are expected to dedicate significant effort to finding a solution for David, with his departure potentially unlocking the space and resources required to bring Zirkzee to Turin.

For Spalletti, the objective is clear: secure a striker he can rely on completely. If Juventus manage to resolve the David situation, the path toward Zirkzee could become considerably clearer, potentially giving the Bianconeri another important piece for the new season.
