Manchester United are preparing for a crucial summer transfer window after a season marked by steady improvement following a difficult start.

Much of the credit has gone to Michael Carrick, who has restored balance and identity to the team, convincing the club’s hierarchy to continue with him for the next phase of the project.

According to TuttoJuve, the Red Devils are now determined to strengthen the squad even further, with defensive reinforcements considered a top priority ahead of next season.

Bremer Becomes Manchester United’s Top Defensive Target

The player who has reportedly impressed the English club the most is Gleison Bremer. The Juventus defender is viewed as the ideal profile to add leadership, physicality, and international experience to Manchester United’s backline.

Despite Bremer being under contract with Juventus until 2029, confidence is growing in England that a concrete move could arrive in the coming weeks.

Reports suggest Manchester United are seriously considering an offer close to €58 million — a figure linked to the Brazilian defender’s release clause.

Bremer’s pace, aggression in duels, and ability to organize the defensive line have made him one of the most highly rated defenders in Serie A over the last few seasons.

The possibility of playing in the Premier League could also represent a major temptation for the Brazilian centre-back.

Juventus Determined to Resist Premier League Pressure

Juventus, however, have no intention of letting one of their defensive leaders leave easily.

The Turin giants consider Bremer a cornerstone of both their present and future project, with the Brazilian becoming a key figure on and off the pitch since arriving in Italy.

Still, the financial power of the Premier League could complicate matters. Manchester United appear ready to make a serious push, while Juventus will have to decide how far they are willing to go to resist a massive offer.

At the moment, the Bianconeri are standing firm, but interest from Manchester United is becoming increasingly concrete.

Much may ultimately depend on the player himself, who could be tempted by the opportunity to test himself in English football and become the new leader of the Red Devils’ defense.
