Juventus has REJECTED to sign 4 Free Agents

Transfer deadline day can produce the most unexpected twists in football. Even when the window appears to be closed, surprises can still emerge, with clubs making moves that nobody saw coming.

One such example is David Alaba’s unexpected decision to continue his career in Serie A with Udinese.

The move may have shocked many, but the Austrian defender had already expressed his desire to play in Italy last spring. After deciding to leave Real Madrid as a free agent, Alaba explored several possibilities in Serie A.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus were among the clubs who had the opportunity to consider a move for the experienced defender.

However, the Bianconeri ultimately decided not to proceed. Juventus had another opportunity to reconsider the situation recently, but the club once again chose not to make the move.

Juventus Continue to Reject Free-Agent Opportunities

The decision is consistent with Juventus’ recent approach to the free-agent market. The club has been very selective and appears unwilling to sign players simply to increase squad depth.

Marcelo Brozovic, for example, was offered to Juventus despite the midfield injury situation involving Manuel Locatelli and Khephren Thuram. The Croatian midfielder was ultimately rejected, with the club preferring to wait until January before making further reinforcements.

Yves Bissouma was another option presented to Juventus. The former Tottenham midfielder was reportedly available and ready to make the move in early September, but the Bianconeri board again decided against acting. Bissouma subsequently moved to Ajax.

The same approach was followed with Leon Goretzka. Before the German midfielder joined Aston Villa in late August, he was offered to Juventus while Franck Kessié’s future remained uncertain. Once again, Juventus politely declined.

The message from Turin is clear: Juventus will only enter the market when they are completely convinced by a player, rather than signing someone simply because an opportunity becomes available.

Palmisani Emerges as a Goalkeeper to Watch

Meanwhile, Juventus are also looking ahead to the future of their goalkeeping department. One name attracting increasing attention is Frosinone goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani.

The 2004-born Italian has impressed with his performances, including an excellent display against Como, and his progress has not gone unnoticed.

Palmisani is already on Juventus’ scouting radar and the club is expected to continue monitoring him closely over the coming months.

For now, Juventus appear determined to remain patient — even when high-profile free agents become available.
