Juventus plan Double Transfer 

Juventus are already planning their next transfer moves, with a potential change at left-back emerging as one of the club’s priorities.

The strategy remains the same one adopted during the final stages of the summer transfer window: one player must leave before another can arrive.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juan Cabal remains the leading candidate to depart Turin, potentially opening the door for a new signing.

The Colombian defender, currently sidelined through injury, decided to stay at Juventus during the final hours of the summer transfer window. His departure would have allowed the Bianconeri to pursue a move for Nicolas Tagliafico, but the deal never materialised.

A similar scenario could unfold in January, although this time Rayan Aït-Nouri is reportedly emerging as a leading target.

Aït-Nouri Could Give Spalletti More Options on the Left

Signing a new left-back would help Luciano Spalletti restore balance to his squad and provide greater flexibility across both flanks.

Zeki Çelik, who has played 518 minutes across six appearances so far, could return to a more regular role on the right side. Meanwhile, Andrea Cambiaso would face increased competition on the opposite flank while gaining greater freedom to operate in different tactical positions.

The Italian international is expected to return to action when the league resumes on October 11 against Cagliari.

The importance of strengthening the left flank has also increased following Spalletti’s tactical adjustments. After the defeat in Reggio Emilia, Juventus regained greater defensive balance against NEC Nijmegen and Atalanta by switching back to a three-man defence.

David Raum Also on Juventus’ Radar

The 3-4-2-1 formation has become an alternative to the 4-2-3-1, making the wing-back positions even more crucial. Bringing in a natural left-footed player would allow Spalletti to manage both systems more effectively without constantly adapting other players to unfamiliar roles.

Aït-Nouri’s characteristics could make him an interesting solution for the Italian coach. However, Juventus are not focusing exclusively on the January transfer window.

For next summer, David Raum remains under observation. The 28-year-old Germany international, who captains RB Leipzig, could become available on a free transfer when his contract expires in July.

Competition for his signature is expected to be significant, particularly from the Premier League. Nevertheless, Juventus could use their positive relationship with the player’s representatives to try to gain an advantage in the race for his signature.
