Juventus the new offer for Vlahovic’ renewal

According to Marco Conterio of TuttoMercato, Juventus have started discussions over a possible contract renewal for Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović.  Writing on X, Conterio revealed that the Turin club has defined a clear salary policy as part of the negotiation.

Juventus are reportedly unwilling to exceed a wage cap of €5–6 million per year, a figure that aligns with the club’s current financial strategy aimed at maintaining sustainability and balance within the squad.

Vlahović, who joined Juventus from Fiorentina in 2022, remains one of the team’s most valuable assets. The club sees him as a central figure in their long-term sporting project and is therefore ready to offer him a lengthy new contract.

This move underlines Juventus’ intention to secure their top scorer’s future while staying consistent with their revised wage structure, which seeks to avoid the inflated salaries that have challenged Italian football in recent years.

A key request from Vlahovic

However, as Conterio reports, the striker’s representatives have made one crucial demand in the talks. For Vlahović to commit to the renewal, he is asking for a significant signing bonus, similar to those often offered to free agents joining new clubs.

This request is seen as a way to recognize his status and importance to the team. The coming weeks will be decisive for both sides. Juventus are keen to reach an agreement before external interest from top European clubs grows, while Vlahović wants to feel valued both financially and professionally.

If the parties find common ground, the renewal could mark another step in Juventus’ strategy of building a competitive yet financially stable squad for the future.
