As preparations for next season begin to take shape, Juventus are placing significant focus on strengthening their midfield.

The club’s sporting management is currently evaluating several profiles capable of adding balance, physicality, and international experience to the squad.

According to reports from TuttoJuve, two well-known names have emerged among the most closely monitored options: Franck Kessié and Leon Goretzka.

Kessié Seen as Potential Free Transfer Opportunity

Kessié could represent an intriguing opportunity for the Bianconeri, particularly if a return to European football becomes possible. The Ivorian midfielder is currently playing for Al-Ahli Saudi FC after leaving FC Barcelona in 2023.

His situation in Saudi Arabia could open the door to a move, especially if contractual circumstances make a transfer financially accessible.

For Juventus, Kessié’s profile ticks several important boxes. Known for his physical strength, ball-winning ability, and tactical discipline, the midfielder previously established himself as one of the most reliable performers in Serie A during his time with AC Milan.

His familiarity with Italian football, combined with his ability to cover large areas of the pitch, could make him an ideal addition to reinforce the team’s midfield structure.

Beyond defensive work, Kessié also offers leadership and experience from competing in both domestic leagues and European competitions.

Goretzka Also on Juventus’ Radar

Another player reportedly under consideration is Leon Goretzka of FC Bayern Munich. The German international has spent several successful seasons in Bavaria, but speculation about the next stage of his career has begun to surface as his contractual situation approaches a decisive period.

Goretzka would bring a slightly different set of qualities compared to Kessié. Renowned for his powerful runs into the penalty area, aerial presence, and versatility in midfield, the German has consistently contributed both defensively and offensively.

His experience at the highest level of European football, including success in the Bundesliga and continental competitions, would add depth and leadership to Juventus’ midfield unit.

The strategy behind these potential moves reflects Juventus’ broader approach to the upcoming transfer window.

Rather than committing to extremely expensive transfers, the club appears focused on identifying smart market opportunities involving experienced players whose contracts or situations could make them attainable.

If deals involving players such as Kessié or Goretzka become realistic, Juventus could position themselves as one of the most strategic and efficient operators in the upcoming summer transfer market.
