Juventus target Napoli’ player

The future of Alex Meret at SSC Napoli is becoming increasingly uncertain ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

According to reports published by Il Mattino, the Italian goalkeeper may consider leaving Naples at the end of the season in search of a more stable role as a first-choice starter.

Despite being under contract with Napoli until June 2027, Meret is reportedly evaluating his options after losing his regular starting position to Vanja Milinković-Savić.

The 1997-born shot-stopper has long been regarded as one of Italy’s reliable goalkeepers, but recent developments appear to have changed his standing within the squad.

Juventus and Inter Monitoring the Situation of Alex Meret

Interest in Meret is already growing across Italy. Both Juventus FC and Inter Milan are believed to be following the goalkeeper closely as they assess potential reinforcements for next season.

His experience in Serie A, combined with his composure and shot-stopping ability, makes him an attractive option for clubs aiming to compete at the highest level.

However, Napoli could hesitate before strengthening a direct rival in the Serie A title race.

Club management may instead prefer an overseas transfer, especially considering that Meret has reportedly attracted attention from several clubs in the Premier League.

A move abroad could offer the goalkeeper a fresh challenge and guaranteed playing time, while also allowing Napoli to avoid empowering domestic competition.

With the summer market approaching, Meret’s situation is expected to become one of the most discussed goalkeeper stories in Italian football.
