Fiorentina want to sign two Juventus players

Fiorentina’s interest in strengthening their defense during the current transfer window appears to extend beyond Daniele Rugani.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Viola are also closely monitoring another Juventus center-back, Federico Gatti.

The report suggests that the Tuscan club is evaluating multiple options from the Bianconeri as they look to add experience and depth to their back line ahead of the new season.

Despite the interest, a potential move for Gatti seems highly complicated at this stage. The 1998-born defender is considered an important part of Juventus’ defensive rotation and has earned growing trust within the squad.

Juventus are reluctant to part ways with him, especially given his physical presence, tactical discipline, and steady development over recent seasons.

Even the positive relationship between Fiorentina’s new sporting director Fabio Paratici and Giorgio Chiellini—now working closely with Cristiano Giuntoli’s successor Damien Comolli—may not be enough to open the door for negotiations.

Rugani Future Appears More Uncertain

While Gatti’s situation looks stable, Daniele Rugani’s future at Juventus seems far less secure. As highlighted by Gazzetta dello Sport, Rugani has struggled to find consistent playing time in recent months, slipping down the pecking order in Turin.

This lack of opportunities could push both player and club to consider a change of scenery as a practical solution for all parties involved.

Fiorentina could represent an attractive destination for Rugani, offering him the chance to regain continuity and play a more central role in defense.

His experience in Serie A and familiarity with high-pressure environments align well with Fiorentina’s ambitions to remain competitive domestically and in Europe.

In summary, while Fiorentina’s interest in Juventus defenders is clear, the likelihood of a deal varies significantly.

Federico Gatti appears firmly in Juventus’ plans, making his transfer unlikely, whereas Daniele Rugani stands out as the more realistic candidate to move, should negotiations progress in the coming weeks.
