Juventus are reportedly preparing a move for Luis Henrique, the talented winger from Olympique Marseille. As part of their transfer strategy aligned with the anticipated return of Antonio Conte. However, Inter Milan remain the frontrunners to land the Brazilian, with negotiations already at an advanced stage.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, Henrique has emerged as a sought-after player in Serie A, with both Juventus and Inter vying for his signature.

The 23-year-old attacker has impressed in Ligue 1 with his flair, work ethic, and tactical discipline—qualities that make him a perfect fit for a Conte-led squad.

Inter close to wrapping up deal for Luis Henrique

Inter have been actively pursuing Henrique in recent weeks and have made significant headway in securing a deal. The Milan-based club sees him as an ideal backup—and possibly a long-term successor—for Denzel Dumfries in the wingback role.

Reports suggest that Henrique has agreed to personal terms with Inter. Which include a five-year contract starting at €2.2 million per year, with performance-based salary increases.

Furthermore, Inter and Marseille have reached a transfer fee agreement worth €22 million plus add-ons, far below the French club’s initial €30 million valuation.

Juventus’ interest tied to Antonio Conte return

Juventus, meanwhile, are closely monitoring the situation and are believed to be ready to intervene should the deal with Inter stall.

Their interest in Henrique is seen as a broader indicator of their commitment to bringing back Antonio Conte. With the Brazilian viewed as a player who fits the former Chelsea boss’s tactical setup.

Conte, known for his use of energetic wingbacks and wide midfielders, would likely see Henrique as a valuable asset in his preferred 3-5-2 formation.

Juventus are therefore positioning themselves to strengthen the squad in anticipation of a new managerial era, hoping to restore domestic dominance and reestablish their European credentials.

Premier League Clubs Also in the Frame for Luis Henrique

While Inter and Juventus are leading the pursuit, they aren’t alone. A number of Premier League sides have shown interest in the Marseille winger. However, none are currently as advanced in negotiations as the Italian giants.

Henrique’s mix of youth, versatility, and top-flight experience makes him an appealing option for clubs across Europe. But his future appears most likely to be decided between the Serie A rivals—unless a last-minute twist arises.

With a personal agreement already in place and a transfer fee nearly finalized, Inter Milan appear to have the upper hand. Yet, Juventus’ growing intent and the potential appointment of Antonio Conte could still shift the dynamics of the transfer.
