Juventus join Race for Brazilian Wonderkid

Juventus and Roma are keeping a close eye on Brazilian left-back Kauã Pascini as both clubs explore potential reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the 18-year-old Atlético Mineiro defender has emerged as an interesting option for the two Serie A sides, with several other European clubs also monitoring his development.

Roma are particularly interested in identifying a suitable backup for Wesley, while Juventus are continuing to assess the market for promising young talents who could strengthen their defensive options in the future.

Pascini Attracts Attention With His Playing Style

Pascini has attracted attention through his performances and technical qualities, with his style of play drawing comparisons to former Real Madrid and Brazil star Marcelo.

However, the report advises against taking the comparison too far, as the young Brazilian still has considerable room for development before he can be judged at the highest level.

Nevertheless, his potential has not gone unnoticed, and interest from clubs across Europe underlines the growing attention surrounding his progress.

Atlético Mineiro Could Consider a January Offer

The 18-year-old has already represented Brazil at Under-16 level and is also involved in the national team’s Under-20 setup, further highlighting his potential.

Pascini remains under contract with Atlético Mineiro until June 2030, meaning his club are in a strong negotiating position.

However, according to Tuttomercatoweb, the Brazilian side could consider an attractive proposal during the January transfer window.

For Juventus, the opportunity to secure a promising young left-back could represent an investment in the future, although competition from Roma and other European clubs could complicate their pursuit.
