Juventus has chosen Inzaghi

Juventus have reportedly decided to continue with Luciano Spalletti as head coach, unless a major disaster occurs in the team’s upcoming matches.

The former Italy national team manager is therefore expected to remain in charge until the end of the current season, despite the growing pressure surrounding his position.

However, the situation could look very different next summer, with the Bianconeri already considering their options for the future. According to Calciomercato, Simone Inzaghi has emerged as the leading candidate to take charge of Juventus ahead of the 2027-28 campaign.

Carnevali Already Planning a New Juventus Project

Inzaghi is particularly admired by Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali, who is reportedly keen to build a new sporting project around the former Inter manager.

The Italian tactician is considered an attractive option thanks to his experience, tactical approach and ability to compete for major trophies.

His potential arrival could represent the beginning of a new era in Turin, with the club looking to restore Juventus to the top of Italian and European football.

Inzaghi is currently managing Al-Hilal, but his adventure in Saudi Arabia is expected to come to an end on June 30, 2027, when his contract expires.

The 50-year-old coach is reportedly eager to return to European football, making Juventus a potentially attractive destination for his next challenge.

For now, Spalletti remains the man in charge, and the immediate priority is to improve the team’s results. Nevertheless, the possibility of Inzaghi taking over next season is beginning to emerge as an intriguing scenario for Juventus’ future.
