Juventus are already preparing to part ways with Edon Zhegrova just one year after investing heavily in the winger.
According to Italian transfer expert Nicolò Schira, the Bianconeri have decided that the Kosovo international will not be part of their plans for the 2026–2027 season, and a summer exit now appears inevitable.

The Turin giants paid €15 million last summer to secure Zhegrova’s services following an impressive spell at Lille OSC, where he had established himself as one of Ligue 1’s most dynamic attacking threats. However, his move to Juventus FC has not unfolded as expected.
Limited Opportunities in Turin
Since arriving in the Piedmont capital, Zhegrova has struggled for consistent minutes. Competition for places in Juventus’ attacking department has been fierce.
Kenan Yıldız has cemented his role on the left wing, while Francisco Conceição, when fit, is typically deployed on the right flank.
Through the middle, despite the long-term injury absence of Dušan Vlahović, Juventus have relied primarily on Jonathan David, with Loïs Openda serving as an alternative option.
With attacking spots effectively locked down, Zhegrova has found himself on the fringes of the squad and reportedly does not feature prominently in coach Luciano Spalletti’s long-term vision.
A Strategic Summer Sale
Juventus are now keen to resolve the situation swiftly. The club intends to place Zhegrova on the transfer market as soon as the July window opens, aiming to protect his market value and avoid financial depreciation.

At 26 years old, the winger still has significant upside and remains an attractive profile for clubs seeking creativity and directness in wide areas.
Last season with Lille, Zhegrova made 21 appearances across all competitions, surpassing 1,500 minutes. He contributed eight goals and two assists — numbers that underlined his attacking efficiency and justified Juventus’ initial investment.
Now, just twelve months later, both player and club appear ready to turn the page in search of a fresh start.
