Vlahovic wants to stay at Juventus

Fresh indications suggest that Dusan Vlahovic and his agent, Darko Ristić, are still giving clear priority to Juventus when it comes to the striker’s future.

According to journalist Gianni Balzarini, this preference is not just a rumor but a concrete stance that continues to guide the player’s decisions at this stage.

What emerges is that Vlahovic has never hidden his desire to remain in Turin. Despite speculation in recent months linking him with potential moves elsewhere, the Serbian forward would welcome the opportunity to continue his journey with Juventus.

Balzarini explains that both the player and his entourage are currently waiting to see whether the club will come forward with a proposal that reflects their expectations. In other words, Juventus remain the main option, and no definitive doors have been closed.

This represents a significant change compared to last summer, when the chances of a contract renewal appeared almost nonexistent.

At that time, talks seemed frozen, and the gap between the club and the player looked too wide to bridge. Now, while no agreement is imminent, there is at least a realistic opening for discussions.

Contract Talks and Financial Balance

From a financial standpoint, flexibility may play a key role. Vlahovic is reportedly not insisting on renewing his contract at the current figure of €12 million per season.

As highlighted by Gianni Balzarini, the striker could be open to accepting a lower fixed salary, provided that performance-related bonuses are included.

Such a structure would still place his earnings above Juventus’ internal limit of around €6 million, but it would represent a compromise compared to previous expectations.

This willingness to negotiate is seen as a positive step forward. While Vlahovic and his agent would still expect a deal that reflects his status and importance, the mere existence of a negotiation margin changes the overall picture.

There is now a percentage chance—however undefined—that Juventus and Vlahovic could reach an agreement.

For Juventus supporters, this development keeps hope alive. The situation remains delicate, but compared to the complete stalemate of the past, the path toward a possible renewal is no longer closed.
