According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are making a fresh and determined attempt to restart negotiations with Dušan Vlahović in an effort to avoid an immediate separation and bring more stability to the striker’s future.
The Bianconeri have reportedly submitted what is considered a final proposal, designed to bridge the gap between the club’s planning needs and the player’s economic expectations.
The idea on the table is a short-term extension, pushing the current contract deadline to 2028. This would effectively act as a “bridge solution,” giving Juventus more control over the situation while spreading the financial impact of Vlahović’s high salary across a longer period.
In parallel, the club is offering a revised wage structure: a guaranteed net salary of €6 million per season, with the potential to rise to €8 million through performance-related bonuses.

These bonuses would be tied specifically to qualification for the next UEFA Champions League campaign and the team’s progress in the Europa League.
A Strategic but Delicate Negotiation
From Juventus’ perspective, this proposal is not just about rewarding the player, but also about financial strategy.
The aim is to reduce immediate pressure on the wage bill while avoiding the risk of losing one of their most valuable attacking assets under unfavourable conditions in the near future.
The club believes that maintaining Vlahović, even on revised terms, could offer both sporting continuity and greater flexibility in future transfer planning.
However, the situation remains far from simple. The relationship between Vlahović and the club’s previous management had already shown signs of strain, mainly due to long-standing disagreements over salary expectations and contract structure.
While recent internal changes at Juventus have helped reopen dialogue and create a more constructive atmosphere, the gap between the player’s entourage and the club’s valuation is still considerable.
Vlahović, along with his father who closely manages his career decisions, is currently evaluating the offer. A response is expected in the coming days, but uncertainty still surrounds the outcome.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Juventus remain hopeful that this renewed proposal can serve as a compromise, yet the striker’s future in Turin is still very much open and undecided.
