Ait-Nouri has decided his future

Rayan Ait-Nouri could be heading for the exit door at Manchester City as early as January, with Juventus reportedly monitoring his situation ahead of the winter transfer window.

According to French reports cited by L’Équipe, the Algerian international is increasingly frustrated with his lack of playing time under Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca.

The 2001-born left-back is reportedly keen to leave the English club and find a new destination where he can enjoy regular first-team football.

With the January transfer window approaching, Ait-Nouri is said to be determined to resolve his situation as soon as possible rather than spend the remainder of the season struggling for opportunities.

Juventus Reopen Talks Over Ait-Nouri

Juventus could represent an ideal destination for the 24-year-old defender. The Bianconeri are actively looking to strengthen their options at left-back and have already identified Ait-Nouri as a potential target.

According to the report, the Turin giants have renewed contact with the player’s representatives after previously exploring a move during last summer’s transfer window.

A loan deal could be a realistic solution for all parties, potentially including an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.

Such an arrangement would allow Juventus to strengthen a position that needs attention without immediately committing to a major financial investment.

Manchester United Also Monitoring the Situation

However, Juventus are not alone in their interest. Manchester United are also keeping a close eye on Ait-Nouri’s situation and could emerge as serious competitors in the race for his signature.

The defender’s desire for regular playing time could make a January departure increasingly likely, particularly if his situation at Manchester City does not improve.

For Juventus, the opportunity to sign an established Premier League defender could represent an attractive market opportunity. Much will depend on Manchester City’s willingness to sanction a loan move and the player’s final decision over his next destination.
