Juventus explore Zaniolo Swap Deal

Nicolò Zaniolo could emerge as one of Juventus’ key targets during the summer transfer window. According to Tuttosport, Nicolò Zaniolo is facing uncertainty over his future at Udinese Calcio despite the club recently making his move permanent.

The main issue revolves around the attacker’s salary demands. Zaniolo currently earns around €1.2 million net per season, but his representatives are reportedly seeking improved terms beyond what the Friulian club is willing to offer.

The gap between the two parties is believed to be around €600,000 to €700,000 per year, creating significant doubts over the player’s long-term future in Udine, even though he remains under contract until 2029.

Several Italian clubs are closely monitoring the situation, including Juventus. Zaniolo’s versatility is highly valued, as he can operate as an attacking midfielder, second striker, or winger, offering head coach Luciano Spalletti multiple tactical options.

Adzic Could Be the Key to Unlocking the Deal

Udinese are understood to value Zaniolo at around €15 million, although Juventus are exploring alternative formulas to reduce the overall cost of the deal.

One possible solution could involve Vasilije Adžić. The highly rated Montenegrin talent is admired by the Udinese hierarchy, a club renowned for developing promising young players.

Including Adžić in the negotiations could allow Juventus to lower the cash component of the transfer while retaining future control over the youngster through mechanisms such as a loan agreement or a buy-back clause.

At this stage, discussions remain at an early phase, but contacts between the two clubs could intensify in the coming weeks.

The feeling is that Zaniolo’s future is far from settled, and Juventus are ready to seize any opportunity that emerges on the market.
