Dusan Vlahovic has become one of the most intriguing opportunities of the summer market. According to Fichajes, both Atlético de Madrid and FC Barcelona now see the Serbian striker as a priority target.

His uncertain future at Juventus has opened a window that Europe’s biggest clubs will not ignore. Juventus want to lower his salary, which currently sits near 12 million euros per year.

The proposal has not convinced the player or his camp. The club also refuses to maintain his current wage, which places his continuity in doubt.

If no agreement is reached soon, Vlahovic could leave Turin once his contract expires. This situation has activated interest across Europe and pushed Atlético and Barcelona into an intense pursuit.

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona fight for the striker

Atlético believe Vlahovic could replace Alexander Sørloth if he leaves the club this summer. Diego Simeone values the striker’s physical presence, work rate, and movement in tight spaces.

These traits match the competitive identity he demands from his forwards. Vlahovic also brings experience and a strong scoring instinct, which strengthens Atlético’s options in decisive moments.

He can perform as a pure number nine or as a partner for Julián Álvarez. The club’s board feels he would adapt quickly and contribute throughout the season. For Atlético, his arrival would represent an ambitious long-term investment. His profile fits their aim to reinforce the attack with strength and reliability.

Barcelona also monitor the situation with growing interest. As reported by Fichajes, the Catalan club expects Robert Lewandowski to depart at the end of his contract. Because of this, they see Vlahovic as a natural heir for their forward line.

His age, scoring ability, and experience make him an appealing choice for a team that wants a powerful and developing attack. Hansi Flick imagines a dynamic front led by a striker with ambition.

Vlahovic could combine well with Barcelona’s young talents. His arrival would offer balance by adding force, experience, and growth potential.

Juventus know they risk losing him for free if negotiations collapse. They may choose to sell him before his contract ends. Several clubs remain alert, including Manchester United and Bayern.

The summer window will decide his next step. Whether he chooses a new challenge or accepts new terms in Turin, Vlahovic faces a defining moment in his career.
