Juventus are stepping up their search for a new striker after officially parting ways with Dusan Vlahovic, who has left Turin as a free agent.

With the club now looking to reshape its attacking department, one of the names high on the Bianconeri shortlist remains Randal Kolo Muani, the Paris Saint-Germain forward who previously enjoyed a productive spell in black and white.

However, Juventus may now face fresh competition in the race for the French international.

Galatasaray Enter the Race

According to reports from Turkish outlet Fanatik, Galatasaray have emerged as serious contenders for Kolo Muani in recent hours.

The Turkish champions are looking to strengthen their attacking options following Mauro Icardi’s departure at the end of his contract.

Despite already having Victor Osimhen in their squad, Galatasaray are reportedly keen to add another high-profile striker, with Kolo Muani fitting the profile they are seeking.

The report claims that Paris Saint-Germain would be willing to consider offers in the region of €25-30 million for the 27-year-old forward, who still has two years remaining on his current contract.

Kolo Muani spent last season on loan at Tottenham, scoring four goals in nine Champions League appearances, while finding the net just once in 30 Premier League matches.

One advantage Galatasaray could hold over Juventus is the opportunity to offer Champions League football next season.

Juventus Still Pushing for the French Forward

Despite the growing interest from Turkey, Juventus remain firmly in the race. According to Tuttosport, the club continues to closely monitor Kolo Muani, whose previous stint in Turin left a very positive impression on both the coaching staff and management.

During his time with Juventus, the French striker made 22 appearances across Serie A and the FIFA Club World Cup, registering 10 goals and three assists.

Those numbers convinced the Bianconeri of his value, and the club had already attempted to negotiate a deal with PSG last summer before talks ultimately failed to produce an agreement.

Now Juventus are preparing a new approach, although Kolo Muani is not the only attacking target under consideration.

The Italian giants are also exploring a potential move for Atlético Madrid striker Alexander Sørloth as they evaluate multiple options to strengthen their frontline ahead of the new season.

Tuttosport reports that Juventus remain interested in Kolo Muani, but with Galatasaray now entering the picture, the battle for the PSG forward could become one of the most intriguing transfer sagas of the summer.
