Spalletti is pushing to sign French striker

Juventus are actively shaping their attacking plans ahead of the upcoming season, and one name gaining renewed attention is Randal Kolo Muani.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a decisive factor in this potential move could be Luciano Spalletti, who has long admired the French forward.

Spalletti’s Vision for a New Attack

Spalletti reportedly values Kolo Muani dating back to his impressive spell at Eintracht Frankfurt, where the striker showcased versatility, pace, and tactical intelligence.

The Italian coach sees him as a perfect fit for his system, particularly due to his ability to move fluidly across the front line and create space for teammates.

The idea under consideration is to pair Kolo Muani with Dušan Vlahović, forming a dynamic and complementary attacking duo.

While Vlahović thrives as a central finisher with physical presence, Kolo Muani’s mobility and creativity could unlock defenses in a different way, giving Juventus a more unpredictable offensive edge.

However, much will depend on whether Juventus secure qualification for the next UEFA Champions League. Participation in Europe’s top competition is not only crucial for prestige but also for financial flexibility. Without it, the club may find it significantly harder to complete such an ambitious operation.

Uncertainty Surrounding Jonathan David

At the same time, the future of Jonathan David remains uncertain. His inconsistent performances have raised questions within the club’s hierarchy, while growing interest from Paris Saint-Germain adds another layer of complexity.

Juventus are carefully weighing the risks associated with pursuing David, particularly given the fluctuating nature of his recent form.

In contrast, a return or renewed move for Kolo Muani—already familiar to the club’s strategic vision and highly regarded by the coaching staff—could represent a more reliable and calculated choice.

As the summer window approaches, Juventus appear determined to avoid costly missteps, focusing instead on players who align both tactically and mentally with the project. In that context, Kolo Muani may emerge not just as an option, but as a priority.
