OFFICIAL : Juventus sign Pierre Kalulu on permanent deal

It’s a day of double celebration for Pierre Kalulu — not only is the French defender turning 25 on June 5, 2025. But he’s also officially signed a permanent contract with Juventus after a successful loan spell.

The Bianconeri have exercised their purchase option following a standout debut season. And confirming Kalulu’s long-term future in Turin with a contract running until 30 June 2029.

Kalulu arrived from AC Milan in the summer of 2024. And Pierre immediately made his presence felt, securing a starting role in the Juventus defense.

Over the 2024–25 campaign, he featured in 39 matches across all competitions. And even found the net once — a crucial goal in a hard-fought win away to Atalanta. His consistent performances and tactical discipline quickly made him a fan favorite and a trusted figure in the squad.

Currently on international duty with the French national team, Kalulu is expected to return to Turin shortly. After to resume pre-season preparations ahead of the Club World Cup in the United States, where Juventus aim to make a global impact.

Official Transfer Details and long-term vision

Juventus confirmed the definitive acquisition of Kalulu’s registration rights from AC Milan for €14.3 million, to be paid across three financial years.

Additional costs of €0.3 million and up to €3 million in performance-based bonuses could also apply, depending on specific achievements. The deal reflects Juventus’s confidence in Kalulu’s abilities and potential contribution over the next four seasons.

Kalulu’s permanent signing underscores the club’s commitment to building a solid defensive core. As the Bianconeri enter a new chapter under renewed leadership and European ambitions. His combination of speed, intelligence, and versatility makes him a valuable asset for the squad.
