Juventus seriously considering Chiesa’ return

Liverpool’s disappointing 2025-26 campaign could trigger significant changes at Anfield this summer, with several players now facing uncertain futures.

After failing to retain their Premier League crown and struggling to meet expectations across multiple competitions, the Reds are preparing for a squad reshuffle ahead of next season. One of the names increasingly linked with a departure is Federico Chiesa.

According to Calciomercato, Liverpool are now open to negotiating the sale of the Italian forward, whose time in England has not unfolded as many supporters had hoped.

Since arriving with high expectations, Chiesa has struggled to consistently impose himself in the Premier League, while recurring injury problems have continued to affect both his rhythm and confidence on the pitch.

Juventus and Napoli Monitoring the Situation

The report claims that both Juventus and Napoli are seriously considering making a move for the 28-year-old winger during the upcoming transfer window.

Liverpool are believed to value the player at around €25 million, a figure that could make him an attractive market opportunity for Serie A clubs seeking proven attacking quality.

For Juventus, a potential reunion with Chiesa would represent more than just a tactical addition. The Italian international enjoyed some of the best moments of his career in Turin before his move to England, becoming a fan favourite thanks to his pace, work rate, and ability to decide big matches.

Napoli, meanwhile, are also eager to strengthen their attacking department and view Chiesa as a player capable of bringing experience and creativity to their frontline.

Everything now appears to depend on whether either Italian giant is willing to meet Liverpool’s financial demands in the coming weeks.

With the Reds ready to reshape their squad and Chiesa keen to revive his career at the highest level, a return to Serie A is becoming an increasingly realistic scenario ahead of the summer transfer market.
