Juventus’ Perfect No. 10 Could Finally Arrive

Forza Juventus

Juventus remain hopeful of signing Brahim Diaz before the transfer window closes, with the Bianconeri closely monitoring developments at Real Madrid.

According to Tuttosport, the Spanish giants’ increasingly crowded attacking department could create an opportunity for Luciano Spalletti’s side to make their move.

Real Madrid’s attack is becoming overloaded following the expected arrival of Diomande in a deal reportedly worth €120 million.

The Ivorian would join an already star-studded group featuring Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Jr., Jude Bellingham, Bernardo Silva, Arda Güler, and several promising youngsters, including Endrick, Franco Mastantuono, Palacios, and Gonzalo Garcia.

With so many attacking options available, competition for playing time is expected to be fiercer than ever under José Mourinho.

Brahim Diaz Remains Juventus’ Priority

Despite enjoying an impressive FIFA Club World Cup campaign, Brahim Diaz has expressed his desire to stay at Real Madrid and fight for his place.

However, Juventus believe the situation could change as the season approaches and opportunities become more limited.

According to Tuttosport, Luciano Spalletti considers the Moroccan international the ideal player to operate between the lines in his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation.

Juventus sporting director Frédéric Massara also knows Brahim Diaz exceptionally well, having brought him to AC Milan on loan during his time alongside Paolo Maldini.

The pair celebrated the Rossoneri’s Serie A title in the 2021/22 season, and Massara remains convinced of the player’s qualities. For now, patience will be required.

Juventus are aware that any realistic chance of signing Brahim Diaz is likely to emerge only during the final stages of the transfer window, when Real Madrid’s squad decisions become clearer. The Turin club would ideally pursue a loan deal, although the exact formula has yet to be determined.

Mastantuono an Alternative, But Not the First Choice

Juventus are also monitoring the situation of highly rated Argentine talent Franco Mastantuono, who continues to be offered to several clubs by his representatives.

Fiorentina are currently considered the strongest contenders for the teenager, despite interest from several Premier League sides.

While Mastantuono is admired in Turin, Tuttosport reports that he is not Juventus’ primary target for the attacking midfield role.

The Bianconeri could consider a late loan move if they are still searching for a playmaker in the closing days of the window, but Brahim Diaz remains the preferred option.

From Spalletti’s perspective, the Moroccan international offers immediate quality and experience, making him a far safer and more reliable solution than the talented but still developing Argentine.

Juventus will therefore continue to watch events unfold in Madrid, hoping that Real’s abundance of attacking talent eventually works in their favour.
