Juventus have reportedly entered the race to sign Folarin Balogun, with Borussia Dortmund also showing interest in the 25-year-old AS Monaco striker.

The American forward came close to leaving Monaco during the summer transfer window, but a proposed move to Everton ultimately collapsed.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, both Juventus and Dortmund are now considering a move for Balogun, although Monaco have made their position clear by valuing the player at around €40 million.

Juventus Identify Balogun as Attacking Target

Balogun remains under contract with AS Monaco until June 2028, but the failed negotiations with Everton have reportedly created tensions between the player’s camp and the Principality club.

That situation could open the door to a transfer in one of the upcoming windows, with Juventus closely monitoring the striker’s availability.

In Turin, head coach Luciano Spalletti is believed to be looking for an attacking reference who can add greater presence to the Bianconeri’s frontline.

Juventus consider Balogun’s profile compatible with their plans and the financial parameters available for strengthening the attack.

The striker’s ability to operate as a central forward makes him an attractive option as Juventus continue to assess their attacking options.

Dortmund Also Ready to Compete for Balogun

Juventus, however, are not alone. Borussia Dortmund have also identified Balogun as a potential addition as they look to refresh their attacking department.

The German club reportedly have the financial resources to satisfy Monaco’s €40 million valuation, meaning Juventus could face serious competition for the American international.

Monaco are not expected to consider offers below the €40 million mark, while the structure and timing of any potential payment will also need to be negotiated.

According to Konur, representatives of both Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are expected to meet with Balogun’s entourage during November 2026.

If either club reaches an agreement with Monaco over the transfer fee and payment terms, Balogun could leave the Ligue 1 side during the upcoming winter transfer window.
