Inter are already enjoying a remarkable season after taking over from Napoli in the race for the Scudetto, while also dreaming of lifting the Coppa Italia trophy.

Such a potential domestic double would underline the impressive work being carried out under manager Cristian Chivu, who continues to receive strong backing from the club’s hierarchy.

However, despite their domestic success, Inter are reportedly determined to strengthen the squad even further after their disappointment in the UEFA Champions League campaign.

Club officials are already planning several improvements ahead of the summer transfer window, with special attention being placed on the left side of the defense.

According to reports from Mirko Di Natale, Inter are preparing a concrete strategy to pursue Andrea Cambiaso from Juventus.

The 26-year-old defender has become one of the standout performers in Turin thanks to his versatility, tactical intelligence, and consistency on both sides of the pitch.

His performances have also attracted interest from elite European clubs, including FC Barcelona and AC Milan.

Carlos Augusto Could Be Included in Deal

Inter are not only considering a direct financial offer. Reports suggest the Nerazzurri may attempt to lower Juventus’ demands by including Carlos Augusto as part of the negotiations.

The Brazilian full-back, currently 27, is highly appreciated for his energy and attacking qualities, which could make him an attractive option for Juventus as they evaluate potential squad changes this summer.

At this stage, discussions remain in the early phases, but Inter’s interest in Cambiaso appears genuine and increasingly serious.

The coming weeks could prove decisive as both clubs assess whether a player-plus-cash agreement can be reached ahead of what is expected to be a busy transfer market in Italy.
