Gatti – Nkunku swap deal: a scenario on the table

AC Milan’s attacking plans are currently dominated by what has quickly become known as the “Nkunku case.”

According to La Repubblica, the Rossoneri are seriously considering accepting a concrete proposal from Fenerbahçe, who are ready to offer €35 million for the French forward.

Such a deal would allow Milan to immediately recover almost the entire investment made last summer, when Nkunku arrived for around €37 million.

At the same time, however, an alternative scenario remains on the table and continues to generate discussion: a potential swap deal involving Juventus.

Milan Weighs Fenerbahçe Offer and Juventus Swap

The Juventus option revolves around Federico Gatti, a defender highly appreciated by Massimiliano Allegri, plus a cash adjustment in exchange for Nkunku.

While the deal initially appeared unlikely to progress, recent contacts between the clubs suggest the situation is far from closed. The key issue remains player valuation.

Milan value Nkunku at €35 million, while Gatti is considered to be worth approximately €20 million. With an additional payment of around €15 million, the foundations for an agreement could be laid.

Despite this reopening, La Repubblica reports that the Turkish track is currently more advanced.

A move to Istanbul would also carry a strong emotional and professional appeal for Nkunku, as he would reunite with Domenico Tedesco, the coach under whom he enjoyed an extraordinary season at RB Leipzig.

On the defensive front, Juventus continue their search for reinforcements for Spalletti. In addition to Gatti, the Bianconeri are monitoring Joe Gomez of Liverpool and Morato, the 192 cm Brazilian defender currently at Nottingham Forest.
