In a recent interview, the Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini explained his decision to join the Giallorossi instead of Juventus.

“The challenge here was more difficult, and that’s what appealed to me,” he said. “I’m happy with how everything has started. Now, we find ourselves preparing for a very important match as the first half of the season comes to a close.”

He emphasized that Juventus remains a formidable opponent. “Juventus is always a great team, undoubtedly strong, and they constantly have the ability to strengthen further. Winning is in their DNA, and they always aim to compete at the highest level.”

Ready for a test against Juventus

Reflecting on Roma’s recent performances, the coach highlighted the team’s growing confidence. “We come into this match after a strong performance against Como and an impressive display in Glasgow,” he said.

“Facing Juventus is the perfect test because the league is entering its most exciting phase.” he ended.

The coach’s words underline both the respect for his opponents and the ambition of his own squad. By choosing Roma, he embraced a project full of challenges and opportunities, aiming to measure his team against one of Italy’s most iconic clubs.

The focus is now on demonstrating consistency and strength in the final matches of the first half of the season.
This perspective provides insight into Roma’s approach: bold, ambitious, and ready to face the league’s toughest tests head-on.
