Frattesi decide his future

Forza Juventus

While the Marco Palestra saga appears to be moving towards a positive conclusion, with growing optimism from all parties involved, the future of Davide Frattesi could become one of the longest-running transfer stories of the summer.

The Italian midfielder considers his time at Inter to be over, and the Nerazzurri have also made the decision to part ways with him. However, a major factor continues to delay any progress regarding his future.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Frattesi has decided to wait for Juventus before considering any other destination.

The former Sassuolo star is fully aware that his name is among those specifically requested by Luciano Spalletti from Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali.

Frattesi also knows that under his former Italy manager, who helped him become one of the national team’s most prolific goalscoring midfielders, he would enjoy a key role and the opportunity to return to his best form in front of goal.

Juventus Exploring Player-Exchange Solutions

For that reason, Frattesi has chosen not to evaluate other offers during this initial phase of the summer transfer window. Instead, he wants to understand whether Juventus can make a concrete move for him.

If the Bianconeri fail to present an offer capable of convincing Inter, the midfielder will then begin considering alternative options.

Inter currently value Frattesi at no less than €30 million. Juventus, meanwhile, are operating under financial restrictions and are focused on balancing their books through player sales before making significant investments.

As a result, exchange deals are increasingly being discussed, with intermediaries working to identify players who could appeal to the Nerazzurri.

For Inter executives Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio, the dream target would be Khephren Thuram.

Meanwhile, Juventus have already floated the names of Federico Gatti and Andrea Cambiaso, although the latter would only become a realistic option if a move for Marco Palestra fails to materialise.

One thing is clear: Inter have no intention of waiting indefinitely. The club would prefer to complete Frattesi’s sale well before the start of pre-season training.

At this stage, Nottingham Forest remains the most straightforward solution, regardless of whether a player is included as part of the deal.
