Bayern Munich have stepped up their interest in Gleison Bremer, with the German champions identifying the Juventus defender as a key target to strengthen their backline ahead of the new season.
According to Sportmediaset, the Bundesliga giants are exploring different options to bring the Brazilian international to Germany, although negotiations are still in the early stages.
Juventus are aware of Bayern’s admiration for the 28-year-old centre-back but are unlikely to receive the full €58 million release clause included in Bremer’s contract.

Instead, the Bavarian club is expected to improve its initial proposal of around €30 million, with a more realistic offer believed to be in the region of €40–42 million.
Bremer remains one of Juventus’ most valuable defensive assets despite injury setbacks, and the club will carefully evaluate any proposal before deciding whether to part ways with one of its defensive leaders.
Kim Min-jae Swap Emerges as Alternative Solution
Another scenario being discussed is a potential swap deal involving Kim Min-jae, who could move to Turin as part of the negotiations.
The South Korean international is reportedly available for transfer, and Bayern Munich would be open to including him in a deal for Bremer.
The idea is particularly appealing to Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti, who previously worked successfully with Kim during their title-winning campaign at SSC Napoli.
Spalletti is said to value the defender highly and would welcome the opportunity to reunite with him in Turin. At this stage, however, discussions remain preliminary.
It is still unclear whether a potential exchange would be a straight swap or whether Juventus would seek additional financial compensation alongside Kim. Much will depend on Bayern’s final valuation of Bremer and how both clubs approach negotiations in the coming weeks.
For now, Sportmediaset reports that talks have yet to reach an advanced stage, but Bayern’s growing interest suggests Bremer could become one of the most closely watched defensive transfer stories of the summer.
