Juventus could return to the market for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in January, and former Bianconeri striker Nicklas Bendtner has shared his thoughts on the possibility of seeing his compatriot move to Turin.
The Danish midfielder was already on Juventus’ radar last summer, when the Italian giants explored the possibility of bringing him in from Olympique Marseille.

Hojbjerg was reportedly open to the move, but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement, forcing Juventus to put their pursuit on hold.
However, the situation could change ahead of the January transfer window, with Marseille reportedly willing to consider his departure as they look to generate funds and reduce their wage bill.
Juventus Could Revive Their Interest in Hojbjerg
Hojbjerg could bring valuable experience, leadership and stability to Juventus’ midfield. Having previously played for Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur, the Denmark international has considerable Premier League experience and has established himself as an important figure at Marseille, where he also serves as captain of his national team.
The midfielder reportedly turned down an opportunity to join Newcastle United last summer, leaving open the possibility of a different challenge in the future.
A move to Juventus could therefore represent an attractive option, provided the Italian club can reach suitable financial terms with Marseille.
For the Bianconeri, however, any potential deal would depend on negotiations between the clubs and their ability to find an agreement that fits within Juventus’ financial plans.

Bendtner Gives His Verdict on a Possible Juventus Move
Bendtner, who joined Juventus from Arsenal during his playing career, understands what it means to wear the black-and-white shirt.
His own spell in Turin was disappointing, with an injury during the second half of the campaign keeping him out for an extended period and preventing him from making the desired impact.
Despite his difficult experience, the former striker would welcome the possibility of seeing Hojbjerg join Juventus.
Speaking about the transfer speculation, Bendtner said, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb:
“He did very well in England, now he plays in France with Marseille and is the captain of the national team. Juventus are clearly rebuilding and it would be interesting to see them there. But compared to when I was there, everything is very different today.”

His comments reflect the significant changes Juventus have undergone since his time at the club, as the Italian giants continue to reshape their squad and pursue a return to the top.
Whether Hojbjerg eventually arrives in Turin remains to be seen, but Juventus’ continued interest could make him a name to watch when the January transfer window opens.
