Juventus winger Nico Gonzalez could be on his way to Saudi Arabia this summer. Al-Ahli are pushing hard to secure the Argentinian star’s signature.

The 27-year-old only joined the Bianconeri last year from Fiorentina, arriving on loan with an obligation to buy for around €33 million.

Despite high expectations, Gonzalez’s debut season in Turin fell short of the mark. He showed occasional glimpses of quality, but consistency was lacking throughout the campaign.

In total, he made 38 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing four assists.

As a result, Juventus are open to offloading him during this transfer window. Reports from La Stampa suggest negotiations between Juventus and Al-Ahli are progressing.

Both clubs are working toward an agreement valued at approximately €30 million. Such a deal would allow Juve to move Gonzalez without incurring a financial loss on their books.

Sources also indicate that French side Olympique Marseille have shown interest in the winger. However, Marseille are reportedly prioritizing a deal for Timothy Weah, another Juventus player. Whether they will include Gonzalez in further discussions remains uncertain.

Juventus planning for major changes on the wings

Juventus are determined to reshape their options on the flanks this summer. Offloading both Gonzalez and Weah would free up squad space and resources. The club has identified two key targets to strengthen these positions.

Francisco Conceicao, who spent last season on loan from Porto, is expected to return permanently. His performances impressed Juventus, and they are keen to bring him back.

Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho is another player firmly on the club’s radar. The Manchester United winger has fallen out of favor at Old Trafford and would welcome a fresh start in Serie A.

Juventus, however, must first raise funds and reduce their wage bill before launching a serious bid.

Significant changes appear inevitable as Juventus continue rebuilding their squad for the upcoming season.
