According to reports highlighted by TuttoJuve, Barcelona are accelerating their pursuit of Marc Guehi. The English defender, born in 2000, will see his contract with Crystal Palace expire at the end of the season.

The Catalan club do not want to wait until summer, as competition for the player continues to grow. Several Turkish media outlets suggest that Barcelona are exploring a January deal.

The idea is to secure the defender in advance and avoid a bidding war in June. This plan would require an additional payment to Crystal Palace, which would act as compensation for an early move.

Barcelona view Guehi as a long-term solution for their back line, and they hope to strike an agreement before other contenders increase their efforts.

The player has impressed in the Premier League with consistent performances and strong positional awareness. His development with Crystal Palace and the English national team has made him one of the most interesting defensive prospects available on the market.

Barcelona believe that his profile fits their modern defensive needs. He has pace, confidence on the ball, and composure under pressure. Those qualities attract many clubs, which is why Barcelona want to stay ahead in the race.

Juventus and Other European Giants Remain Alert

TuttoJuve also reports that Juventus have a strong interest in Guehi. The Italian club would prefer to wait for a free transfer, which makes the summer window more appealing for them.

Juventus are monitoring his situation carefully, especially because the club wants to reinforce its defensive depth. A zero-cost signing would match their current financial strategy. However, the growing number of suitors could complicate their plans.

Several major European clubs are also watching the player. Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Inter have shown concrete admiration for his qualities.

Each of these clubs sees Guehi as an opportunity to strengthen their defensive lines with a young but mature talent. As interest increases, the final decision may depend on the player’s personal ambitions and the offers presented in the coming months.

Guehi now stands at the center of a major European battle. His future could shift quickly, especially if Barcelona push harder in January.
