Man United set EASY condition for Juve to sign Zirkzee

Juventus are continuing to push on multiple transfer fronts after closing the deal with PSG for Randal Kolo Muani.

At the same time, the Bianconeri are working behind the scenes on another major attacking target: Joshua Zirkzee.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali and sporting director Ricky Massara have maintained constant contact with influential agent Kia Joorabchian.

Their discussions have not only focused on Zirkzee’s future but are also expected to include the unresolved situation surrounding Douglas Luiz.

Massara Revives Long-Standing Interest

Zirkzee, now 26, endured a disappointing spell at Manchester United following his move from Bologna. The Dutch striker has managed just nine goals and four assists in 75 appearances, playing only 2,901 minutes across two seasons.

He has struggled to adapt to both the Red Devils’ style of play and the physical demands of the Premier League, making a return to Serie A an increasingly attractive option.

Massara has admired the Dutch forward for some time. In fact, during his spell at Roma earlier this year, he came close to securing Zirkzee’s signature before the deal collapsed at the last moment, forcing the club to move for Donyell Malen instead.

Now at Juventus, Massara is determined to reopen negotiations with Manchester United and finally bring the striker to Turin.

Juventus Exploring the Right Formula

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, recent talks between Juventus and Joorabchian have produced encouraging signs. From the player’s side, there is genuine interest in joining the Bianconeri.

Zirkzee’s current salary of around €3.6 million per season, plus bonuses, also fits comfortably within Juventus’ wage structure, giving the Italian giants greater confidence as discussions progress.

The main obstacle remains finding an agreement with Manchester United. The Premier League club values Zirkzee between €35 million and €40 million and is open to a loan deal, provided it includes an obligation to buy in the summer of 2027.

Juventus, however, are hoping to negotiate a more flexible arrangement. Their preferred solution would be a loan with an option to buy or, alternatively, a conditional obligation triggered by specific performance-related clauses.

Negotiations are still in the early stages, but with continuous contact between all parties, there is growing optimism that the deal could accelerate in the coming weeks.
