Mendes working to bring the Bomber at Juventus

Juventus are considering a move for Monaco striker Folarin Balogun as they look to strengthen their attacking options during the January transfer window.

However, despite the growing interest in the United States international, a potential move to Turin remains far from imminent.

According to Eurosport, discussions about a possible mid-season transfer are still premature. With October not yet over, Juventus have plenty of time to assess their options, and the Bianconeri have not yet decided which striker they want to target to provide additional support for Randal Kolo Muani and Nick Woltemade.

Balogun Situation Could Open the Door

Although Juventus have yet to make a final decision, Balogun’s situation at Monaco could make him an interesting option for the Italian giants.

The 2001-born striker is reportedly experiencing difficulties with his current club, potentially creating an opportunity for Juventus to negotiate a deal in January.

The conditions surrounding a possible transfer could be more favourable than they were in the recent past, giving the Turin-based club reason to keep the American forward on their shortlist.

Another factor that could influence the situation is Balogun’s recent change of agent. The Monaco striker has entrusted his representation to renowned agent Jorge Mendes, a development that could potentially facilitate negotiations and help pave the way for a move to Serie A.

For now, however, Juventus are still evaluating their options as they look to identify the right profile to reinforce their attack. Balogun remains a name to watch, but there is no guarantee that the Bianconeri will make a concrete move when the January transfer window opens.

More clarity is expected to emerge in the coming weeks as Juventus continue to assess their attacking targets and the possibility of bringing the USMNT striker to Turin.
