In an exclusive interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Randal Kolo Muani shared his thoughts ahead of Juventus’ upcoming challenge against Manchester City in the Club World Cup. He also spoke in depth about his admiration for teammate Kenan Yildiz and his future at Juventus.

Kolo started : “That game against Wydad Casablanca was incredible. We came out sharp and aggressive from the very beginning. Kenan Yildiz really set the tone with two explosive moments early on. Honestly, on the own goal by Boutouil, I’m convinced Kenan was trying to find me with a pass”.

“When Wydad made it 2-1, we didn’t panic. Instead, we stayed focused, pushed again, and closed it out with maturity. These tight moments reveal a lot about our strength as a group”.

“Now, we’re getting ready for Manchester City—the first European opponent in our tournament. It’s going to be a serious test, especially under Guardiola. They’re one of the best clubs in the world, but we’re determined to prepare well and go for the win.”

Praise for Yildiz and future at Juventus

Yildiz admiration : “Kenan is a special player. Playing next to him is honestly like watching magic unfold in real-time. His stats are wild, but what impresses me most is what he does in training”.

“His quality is on another level, really. He sees things others don’t. I’m lucky to play alongside him. He deserves every trophy that comes his way, both with Juve and individually.”

Juventus Future : “As for my future, I really don’t know. Right now, my mind is fully on the Club World Cup. It’s a short, intense competition, and there’s no time to think beyond each game”.

“After the tournament, we’ll see what happens with the transfer market. But what I can say is that I feel great at Juventus. I’m happy here, I’ve adapted well, and I’m enjoying every moment with this group. We’re building something strong.” ended Randal Kolo Muani.
