DardanThis Sunday, the Allianz Stadium will host one of Serie A’s most intense rivalries, as Juventus vs Inter in the Derby d’Italia on Matchday 25 of the season. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the 20:45 CET kick-off:
Head to Head
This will mark the 184th encounter between Juventus and Inter in Serie A. The Bianconeri have the upper hand with 87 victories, while Inter have won 49 times, and 47 matches have ended in a draw. Juventus’ record against Inter is their most successful in Serie A, matching their tally against Lazio (87).
Inter have not lost to Juventus in their last three league meetings (1 win, 2 draws), and the only time they managed four unbeaten games against Juventus in Serie A over the past 45 years was between 2003 and 2005 (3 wins and 1 draw).
After the 4-4 draw in the first leg on October 27th, Juventus and Inter have the chance to draw both league fixtures for just the fourth time in history. Previous instances occurred in the 1988/89, 1994/95, and 2001/02 seasons.
Inter’s most defeats and goals conceded in Serie A have come at the hands of Juventus (87 losses and 263 goals conceded).
In the last nine encounters between the sides, both Juventus and Inter have secured three wins each, with three matches ending in draws. The teams have scored exactly 12 goals apiece during this stretch.

Player stats: Juventus vs Inter
Randal Kolo Muani, with five goals in his first three Serie A appearances, is the first player in the three-points-for-a-win era (since 1994/95) to achieve this feat. He could also become just the second player in this era to score in each of his first four Serie A appearances, following Krzysztof Piatek (2018/19).
In the first leg against Inter, Kenan Yildiz (aged 19 years and 176 days) became the youngest player in Serie A history to score two goals in a single match between Juventus and Inter. The last Bianconeri player to score more goals in a season against Inter was Roberto Baggio in 1991/92 (three goals).

Timothy Weah, who has scored against both Inter and AC Milan this season, has netted five goals in Serie A this campaign, after failing to score last season. He can become the fourth non-European Juventus player to score in both league fixtures against Inter in a single season, following in the footsteps of Raimundo Orsi (1931/32), Arturo Vidal (2013/14), and Paulo Dybala (2019/20).
Nicolas Gonzalez is closing in on his 100th Serie A appearance, sitting on 99 appearances, 13 of which came with Juventus.
Dusan Vlahovic made his Serie A debut against Inter on September 25, 2018, and has scored twice in the last three meetings with them.
Focus on the opposition
Michele Di Gregorio has kept eight clean sheets this Serie A season, ranking just behind Yann Sommer (11), Alex Meret (9), and Mike Maignan (9).
The players with the highest average number of touches per 90 minutes in Serie A this season will face off in this match: Alessandro Bastoni (95.4), Pierre Kalulu (95.4), Hakan Calhanoglu (95.0), and Manuel Locatelli (87.5), based on a minimum of 15 appearances.
Marcus and Khephren Thuram faced each other for the first time in all competitions in January 2019, when Marcus scored in Guingamp’s 3-1 win over Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue. This season, Marcus has netted 13 league goals, matching his best tally from the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Lautaro Martínez, with nine goals this Serie A season, could become the first foreign player in Inter’s history to reach double figures for goals in six different Serie A seasons. He is currently level with Stefano Nyers and Mauro Icardi, both of whom reached five seasons with 10 or more goals.
Francesco Acerbi, who last played in Serie A 79 days ago, is one match away from making his 100th appearance for Inter across all competitions.
