Juventus are monitoring closely Inter player

Carlos Augusto continues to attract attention across Europe, even while Inter Milan remain content with his performances. Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus are monitoring his situation closely reports today TuttoMercato.

Although Augusto is happy, he’s currently sharing minutes with Federico Di Marco. This rotational role, while not troubling him yet, has sparked curiosity from several top clubs.

Inter acquired the Brazilian full-back from Monza for approximately €13 million. Since then, he has grown significantly, both tactically and physically.

His ability to play as a ‘braccetto’—a hybrid center-back/wing-back in a back three—has made him a versatile asset. In the 2024/2025 season, he notched 3 goals and 7 assists in 49 appearances, occasionally outperforming Di Marco.

Possible transfer moves on the horizon for Carlos Augusto

Juventus would reportedly pursue Augusto only if they decide to part ways with Andrea Cambiaso.

However, that possibility remains remote, as Cambiaso appears set to stay. Juventus might retain Filip Kostic to provide squad depth on the left flank, focusing more on reinforcing their right wing-back options.

Manchester City have cooled their interest, but both Napoli and AC Milan are now considering a move. Milan, in particular, could explore the option if they face changes on the left side of their defense.

A €30 million bid might be enough to convince Inter to consider selling, even though the club sees Augusto as an important part of their future.

The player’s dedication to joining Inter two years ago, despite knowing he wouldn’t be a guaranteed starter, demonstrates his ambition and character. He adapted quickly and earned respect through solid performances.

While he is likely to remain at Inter, many clubs see him as a potential starter. His market value and growing influence make him one of Serie A’s most intriguing prospects this summer.
