Juventus have already stepped decisively into the transfer market, aiming to strengthen their wide areas ahead of what promises to be a demanding and packed upcoming season.

According to reports from Tuttosport, Bernasconi has emerged as a leading candidate should Andrea Cambiaso depart during the summer window.

The club’s hierarchy is working tirelessly to identify the right profiles to fit into the tactical vision of Luciano Spalletti, ensuring the squad remains competitive on all fronts.

A Target Tailored for Modern Football

Bernasconi, currently with Atalanta BC, has caught Juventus’ attention thanks to his tactical flexibility and strong attacking instincts—qualities considered essential in today’s game.

His ability to adapt across multiple roles on the flank makes him a valuable asset, especially for a team looking to evolve dynamically. Interest in the player is far from preliminary; it has developed into a concrete pursuit rather than a simple scouting exercise.

Club representatives were recently present in Bergamo to watch the Coppa Italia clash between Atalanta and SS Lazio.

Their focus was firmly on evaluating Bernasconi’s performance under pressure, particularly his physical resilience and decision-making in high-intensity situations.

Reports from the scouting team have been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the player’s rapid development and readiness to take the next step in his career.

Financial Challenges on the Horizon

Despite the strong interest, securing Bernasconi’s signature will not be straightforward. The defender remains under contract with Atalanta until 2030, placing the club in a powerful negotiating position.

As a result, any potential deal could demand a fee in the region of €25 million, reflecting both his potential and current value. Juventus executives are now carefully assessing their financial strategy to determine whether the move is feasible.

Opening negotiations will be crucial, not only to explore possible compromises on the asking price but also to avoid entering a competitive bidding scenario.

With the summer window approaching, the situation is expected to develop quickly, as Juventus aim to act decisively and avoid being caught unprepared.
