Bianconeri offer swap deal for Alisson Becker

Juventus are stepping up their pursuit of Liverpool’s Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker, turning what once seemed a distant possibility into a concrete transfer objective.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turin giants have identified the 33-year-old as their top priority to strengthen the squad under new head coach Luciano Spalletti.

Initial contacts have already taken place, and further discussions are expected soon as the player’s representatives travel to Italy.

A Return to Italy on the Horizon

After eight successful seasons at Liverpool FC, Alisson is reportedly intrigued by the idea of returning to Italy, where he previously shone with AS Roma between 2016 and 2018.

Under Spalletti’s guidance, he developed into one of the world’s best goalkeepers—a trajectory Juventus hope to reignite.

Despite Liverpool activating a contract extension until 2027, the presence of rising Georgian talent Giorgi Mamardashvili, signed as a long-term successor, has subtly reshaped the club’s goalkeeping hierarchy.

For Juventus, Alisson represents more than just experience. His winning pedigree—including Premier League and Champions League triumphs—fits perfectly with the club’s ambition to quickly return to title contention.

The project in Turin is not only sporting but also personal, offering the Brazilian a chance to close his career as a central figure at a top European club.

Financial Hurdles and Possible Swap Deal

The main obstacle remains Alisson’s salary, currently around €5 million net per year plus bonuses. Juventus have proposed a three-year deal on slightly reduced terms, potentially including an option for a fourth year.

This structure reflects a long-term vision, appealing to both the player’s professional and lifestyle considerations. Once personal terms are agreed, negotiations with Liverpool will intensify.

The English club is unwilling to let their number one leave cheaply, reportedly valuing him between €10 and €15 million. A key element in bridging that gap could be Michele Di Gregorio.

The Italian goalkeeper, previously monitored by Liverpool during his time at AC Monza, could be included as part of the deal. If the move materializes, Di Gregorio would likely compete alongside Mamardashvili in a new-look Liverpool setup.

The coming weeks could prove decisive in shaping one of the summer’s most intriguing transfer stories.
