Juventus strongly interested on Totenham midfielder

Yves Bissouma has emerged as a serious target for Juventus this summer. The Mali midfielder, currently with Tottenham Hotspur, is entering the final year of his contract.

With Spurs keen to avoid losing him for free in 2026, they are open to offers. Juventus view Bissouma as a valuable reinforcement, especially with Douglas Luiz expected to leave.

The Bianconeri’s interest is backed by their strong relationship with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. Past negotiations have reportedly built trust between the clubs, giving Juventus a potential edge.

Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest Tottenham would accept a fee in the €15–20 million range. They prefer to sell Bissouma abroad rather than to a domestic rival. Several Premier League clubs are monitoring the player, but Juve appear to be leading the race.

However, there’s a non-EU registration hurdle. Juventus have already signed Canadian striker Jonathan David, filling one of the two available slots. Bissouma would take the final non-EU place, meaning no other non-EU players could be added without an outgoing transfer.

Yves Bissouma to replace Luiz?

If Bissouma arrives, he’ll likely battle Manuel Locatelli and Weston McKennie for a midfield spot under new manager Igor Tudor.

He would also effectively replace Douglas Luiz, who is being linked with a Premier League return.

Manchester United have reportedly shown the most interest in Luiz. The Red Devils may use Jadon Sancho in a swap deal, potentially accelerating Luiz’s departure. Juventus could then fully commit to Bissouma as part of their midfield revamp.

Ruben Amorim, the Sporting Lisbon boss, may benefit indirectly. If Luiz moves to England, Juventus would be more willing to negotiate for midfield reinforcements, possibly opening doors for Amorim’s targets.

Bissouma’s experience in the Premier League and physical style suit Serie A. Juventus see him not just as depth but as a key piece. If terms can be agreed swiftly, Bissouma may soon be wearing black and white in Turin.
