Dani Ceballos finds himself back in the headlines as speculation about his future intensifies once more. The Real Madrid midfielder seems to be on the fringes of Xabi Alonso’s plans, which has prompted fresh rumours about a potential summer exit.

Reports from Mundo Deportivo claim the 28-year-old could leave the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming weeks. Italian giants Juventus are reportedly interested in securing his services.

Despite his quality and experience, Ceballos was used sparingly during the recent Club World Cup campaign.

He only accumulated 70 minutes across four matches. Against Pachuca, he played 30 minutes. He saw 16 minutes against Salzburg, one minute versus Juventus, and 23 minutes against Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals.

Such limited opportunities have raised serious doubts about his place in the squad moving forward.

Juventus & Betis monitoring Dani Ceballos situation

It appears Juventus are preparing to act because reports suggest the Turin club are considering an offer in the region of €12 million.

They believe Ceballos could strengthen their midfield depth and offer valuable experience. His versatility and technical skills are viewed as assets in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Real Betis are again linked with their former player and every transfer window brings fresh rumours of a possible return to Seville. However, at present, this talk seems speculative rather than concrete.

Ceballos remains under contract with Real Madrid until 2027. Yet, given the fierce competition for midfield spots, a move might benefit both the player and the club.

Real Madrid could use this opportunity to refresh their squad and create room for emerging talents and as for now, no official bid has been made.

However, the next few weeks could prove pivotal. Both Juventus and Betis are expected to monitor developments closely as the transfer window progresses.
