Quality is the key word at Juventus as the club shapes its transfer strategy ahead of the new season.

Alongside experienced players capable of adding leadership and personality to the dressing room, head coach Luciano Spalletti has asked the club’s hierarchy to raise the technical level of the squad, particularly in attacking areas.

After showing interest in Real Madrid and Morocco playmaker Brahim Diaz, Juventus have now turned their attention to another exciting talent from Spanish football.

Juventus Reignite Interest in Spanish Rising Star

According to reports from Sportitalia, confirmed by Spanish outlet AS, Juventus remain interested in Deportivo La Coruña winger Yeremay Hernandez.

The 2002-born forward was already on the Bianconeri’s radar during the January transfer window, when both Como and Napoli also monitored his situation.

A native of the Canary Islands, Yeremay played a pivotal role in Deportivo’s promotion back to La Liga. He finished the campaign with an impressive return of 11 goals and 10 assists in 38 league appearances, underlining his enormous potential and attacking quality.

However, Deportivo’s management has already shown its determination to resist interest in one of its most valuable assets and is not expected to lower its demands.

Release Clause Could Complicate Juventus Move for Yeremay Hernandez

Yeremay recently extended his contract with Deportivo La Coruña until June 2030, while the club also holds an option to prolong the agreement by a further three seasons.

His contract reportedly includes a substantial release clause worth between €100 million and €150 million, a clear signal of the club’s intention to ward off interest from Europe’s top sides, including Juventus.

The newly promoted Spanish club is determined to keep the winger for at least one more season, despite reports suggesting that both Como and Juventus would be willing to invest up to €35 million to secure his signature.
