Juventus are continuing to plan for the summer transfer window, with strengthening the defense remaining one of the club’s main priorities.

After a season that highlighted the need for greater quality and depth at the back, the Bianconeri are evaluating several options ahead of next season and their Europa League campaign.

According to reports from TuttoJuve, one of the names that has resurfaced on Juventus’ shortlist is Radu Dragusin, the Romanian defender who is already familiar with the club’s environment after coming through the Bianconeri youth system.

Dragusin Back on Juventus’ Radar

Developed in Juventus’ academy, Dragusin took his first steps in professional football in Turin before gaining valuable experience in Serie A and later in the Premier League.

Juventus are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation of the Tottenham centre-back, viewing him as a potential reinforcement for Luciano Spalletti’s squad.

Although the Romanian international remains under contract with Tottenham until 2030, the North London club are not believed to consider him untouchable.

As a result, a summer move is seen as a realistic possibility. The operation is expected to be valued between €15 million and €20 million.

A figure that could make him a more affordable option compared to other defenders currently available on the international market.

Juventus Prefer a Loan Deal

The past season was far from straightforward for Dragusin. A serious ACL injury significantly limited his playing time and forced him into a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

However, after months of recovery, he returned to action towards the end of the campaign, showing determination and resilience in completing his rehabilitation.

From a technical perspective, Dragusin possesses several qualities that could suit Juventus’ needs. His physical presence, aggressive approach in defensive duels, and familiarity with Italian football make him an attractive option for the Bianconeri.

Nevertheless, Juventus would reportedly prefer a loan arrangement and remain unconvinced about pursuing a permanent transfer at this stage.

For Dragusin, a return to Turin would also represent an opportunity to relaunch his career in the city where his football journey began.
