Ederson has been offered to Juventus

Juventus have reportedly emerged as one of the clubs offered the chance to sign Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson Moraes before the start of the summer transfer window, according to TRT Spor.

The Turkish outlet claims that the experienced shot-stopper was proposed to both Juventus and Benfica at the end of last season in a move that had remained under wraps until now.

Benfica decided to reject the opportunity, choosing instead to place their trust in Anatoliy Trubin, while Juventus are still believed to be monitoring the former Manchester City goalkeeper’s situation.

Ederson Future to Be Decided After Fenerbahce Meeting

Ederson, 32, is under contract with Fenerbahce until the summer of 2028. However, his future is not yet guaranteed.

According to TRT Spor, the Brazilian is expected to hold crucial talks with the club’s hierarchy in the coming days, after which a final decision will be made regarding his future.

The report adds that two other European clubs have also made enquiries about the goalkeeper, but Juventus remain attentive as they wait to see the outcome of the meeting before deciding whether to make a move.

Juventus Still Searching for the Right Goalkeeper

The Bianconeri have yet to settle on the ideal goalkeeper to compete alongside Michele Di Gregorio ahead of the new season. Head coach Luciano Spalletti is keen to strengthen the position with an experienced international signing.

Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez of Aston Villa remains Juventus’ preferred target, while Guglielmo Vicario is considered the main alternative.

However, Ederson’s availability has now emerged as an intriguing late-market opportunity that could reshape the club’s plans.
