Inter is reportedly ready to make a renewed push for a player they have long pursued, potentially turning him into their marquee signing for the January transfer window.

According to reports from various sources, including TuttoJuve, the Nerazzurri are once again showing strong interest in Ederson, the Brazilian midfielder currently at Atalanta, who has been closely monitored in several recent transfer periods.

In recent weeks, developments surrounding the player have taken an unexpected turn. Ederson’s agent has suggested that the midfielder’s future is likely away from Bergamo, fueling speculation about a potential move.

These comments have reignited Inter’s interest, particularly now that the Brazilian’s market value has dropped significantly. Known as one of Serie A’s most reliable midfielders last season, Ederson is now back at the center of Inter’s January transfer plans.

Transfer possibilities and market dynamics

In the past, Inter attempted to bring Ederson to Milan, but Atalanta’s steep asking price of €65–70 million blocked any deal. The situation today is very different.

With midfielder Frattesi possibly leaving in January and Atalanta adjusting their valuation, Ederson has once again become a top priority for coach Simone Inzaghi.

According to TuttoJuve, Ederson’s agent has openly discussed a break with Atalanta, revealing that the club is now willing to negotiate a transfer fee in the range of €35–40 million.

This significantly lower price makes the deal feasible for Inter. While Juventus has also shown interest, they are reportedly unwilling to meet a €50 million valuation.

If the transfer goes through, Ederson could provide a major boost to Inter’s midfield, adding both experience and stability. His tactical intelligence, passing ability, and defensive contributions make him an attractive addition for a club seeking to strengthen their squad in the middle of the park.

With January approaching, the coming weeks could be decisive in determining whether Inter finally secures a long-sought target.

TuttoJuve reports that the transfer market remains dynamic, and Ederson’s move could be one of the most talked-about deals of the winter window.
