Manu Koné joined AS Roma a little over one year ago. His adventure in the capital may already be approaching a turning point. The French midfielder, now a regular member of Didier Deschamps’ squad with twelve appearances, continues to attract strong interest across Europe.

His progress in Serie A has not gone unnoticed, and one Premier League club appears ready to move. Newcastle United has emerged as the most determined contender for the midfielder.

The English club, recently involved in a Champions League clash with Marseille, reportedly views Koné as an ideal addition for their ambitious project. The Premier League side seeks more energy and versatility in midfield, and Koné fits that profile.

His physical strength and ball-carrying ability make him a natural target for teams that value dynamic transitions. Koné, born in 2000 and now 24 years old, has played seventeen matches this season for Roma.

His performances demonstrate his consistent development. He offers intensity, drive, and tactical flexibility in several midfield roles. Roma appreciates his contribution, yet the growing interest from abroad could force the club to consider potential scenarios. Roma might listen to offers if they believe a significant profit is possible.

European giants monitoring

Newcastle is not the only club observing the French midfielder. Several major European sides track his progress. Juventus views him as a valuable long-term option for their midfield rebuild.

Napoli and Inter remain attentive, searching for players with his profile. Paris Saint-Germain also keeps an eye on him because of his development with the national team. Each club studies Roma’s stance and the potential cost of securing the player.

Koné’s future remains open as interest continues to rise. Roma values his impact, but the transfer market often brings unpredictable developments. His age and skill set make him one of the most intriguing midfielders in Italy.

The coming months may determine whether he stays in Rome or seeks a new challenge abroad. Whatever happens, his situation will remain a key topic in the transfer discussions highlighted by TuttoJuve.
