“I’m happy at Juve, I would never go to Inter. I can’t follow every rumor. I’m happy at Juventus and I would never go to Inter.”

In a wide-ranging interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Khephren Thuram addressed the transfer speculation that sparked the early stages of the market.

Among the rumors was a possible swap deal with Frattesi, immediately denied by the Bianconeri, and never seriously considered as a move.

Thuram also made a candid remark about his brother, who he doesn’t want as a teammate: “Not at Juve. Marcus has his own team. We already play together for France, that’s enough.”

On comparisons with Pogba
“I hope I’m not at my peak yet—I want to keep improving. Pogba is unreachable; there are very few like him. He’s my favorite. But he is Pogba, and I’m Khephren Thuram.”

Spalletti and Conte?

On Spalletti : “In the video room, he has posted lots of notes—useful information. One reminds us to turn our heads on the pitch. I’ve learned from all my coaches, but Spalletti has the most experience.

He’s brilliant; he sees things others don’t even imagine. I can become a stronger player thanks to him. My contract? I have one; as for Spalletti’s renewal, you’ll have to ask him.”

On Conte and Napoli

“Napoli are strong and have a great coach. My dad told me Conte had a strong personality even as a player. But we are Juventus, and here the only focus is winning.”
