Ahead of Juventus’ clash against Bologna, clarity emerged around recent transfer speculation involving the club. According to DAZN, Juventus has no intention of engaging in a swap deal involving Khéphren Thuram and Davide Frattesi.

Giorgio Chiellini spoke to DAZN before the Bologna match, as he currently serves as Juventus’ director of football strategy. The former defender addressed rumors linking Thuram with a possible exchange.

Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi was the other name involved. Chiellini rejected the idea without hesitation. He stressed respect toward Inter and its players. Chiellini refused to comment directly on Frattesi.

He described such discussion as inappropriate and unnecessary. The message was firm and deliberate, Juventus does not plan to open negotiations.

Chiellini then focused on Khéphren Thuram’s role. The French midfielder is only twenty-four years old and Juventus sees him as a key asset. The club has no desire to let him leave.

“I will not speak about Frattesi; I believe it would be disrespectful to Inter. One thing is certain: Thuram is and will remain a Juventus player. We have no intention of losing him; on the contrary, we want to build the future with him,” he stated firmly.

Chiellini confirmed Thuram remains central to future plans. His statement removed all ambiguity. Juventus wants continuity and stability in midfield.

Juventus Plans Its Future Carefully

Thuram joined Juventus with significant expectations. His performances have justified the club’s confidence. He brings energy, physical strength, and tactical intelligence. The coaching staff values his adaptability.

Supporters also appreciate his commitment on the pitch. Juventus believes he can grow further. Speculation often increases before major matches. Transfer rumors are common during competitive seasons.

However, Juventus aims to avoid unnecessary distractions. The club prefers long-term planning over short-term solutions. Chiellini emphasized building a sustainable project. Retaining core players is essential to that vision.

Juventus continues to reshape its identity. Young talents play a crucial role in this process. Thuram fits perfectly into this philosophy. His development aligns with the club’s sporting objectives. Letting him go would contradict current plans.
