Juve could offer two players to Fiorentina for their left-back

Juventus are reportedly moving decisively in the transfer market with a clear focus on Niccolò Fortini, the highly rated left-back born in 2006 and currently under contract with Fiorentina.

According to La Nazione, the Turin-based club has already begun exploring concrete solutions to convince the Viola to part ways with one of their most promising young defenders.

Juventus’ Strategy and Player Exchange Options

As reported by La Nazione, Juventus are considering a player-based operation to lower Fiorentina’s asking price for Fortini. The Bianconeri are prepared to include either Daniele Rugani or Federico Gatti in the deal.

The objective would be to significantly reduce the financial cost of the transfer or, in the case of Gatti, potentially structure a straight swap between the two clubs.

This strategy aligns with Juventus’ broader plan of rejuvenating their squad by investing in young Italian talent while maintaining balance in the first-team roster.

Fortini is seen as a modern full-back with strong physical attributes and room for significant development, making him an attractive long-term asset for the club.

Fiorentina’s Position and Fortini’s Future

From Fiorentina’s perspective, the proposal could represent an interesting opportunity. Both Rugani and Gatti are reportedly on the club’s shortlist for the January transfer window, as the Tuscan side looks to strengthen its defensive options with experienced Serie A profiles.

This mutual interest could open the door to negotiations that benefit both parties. Another key factor influencing Fiorentina’s stance is Fortini’s contractual situation.

Although his current deal runs until 2027, La Nazione notes that the young defender is not keen on renewing his contract or committing his long-term future to the Florence-based club.

This uncertainty may push Fiorentina to consider a sale sooner rather than risk losing leverage in future negotiations. If talks progress, the coming weeks could prove decisive.

Juventus’ willingness to include established defenders and Fiorentina’s need to clarify Fortini’s future suggest that this potential transfer could evolve into one of the most intriguing domestic deals on the Italian market, with La Nazione continuing to monitor developments closely.
