According to TuttoJuve, Fiorentina have emerged as one of the clubs showing the strongest interest in two Juventus players who are no longer considered key parts of the club’s long-term project: João Mário and Edon Zhegrova.

João Mário Talks Reach an Important Stage

The more advanced negotiation involves João Mário. The Portuguese full-back returned to Turin after his previous spell away from Juventus, but he is not part of Luciano Spalletti’s plans for the upcoming season. As a result, the club has been actively searching for a new destination.

Fiorentina have been in discussions with Juventus for several days. Early talks centered around a loan deal with an option to buy, but the situation has now evolved.

Juventus are reportedly pushing for either a permanent transfer or a deal that guarantees a future obligation to buy, ensuring a secure financial return.

That change in stance has temporarily slowed negotiations as both clubs continue searching for a compromise.

Zhegrova Also on Fiorentina’s Radar

At the same time, Fiorentina remain interested in Edon Zhegrova. The Kosovo international is highly appreciated by the Viola, but once again the transfer formula has become the main obstacle.

Fiorentina would prefer to sign the winger on loan with an option to purchase, while Juventus are carefully evaluating every possibility.
